Step onto a new world
The word ‘unique’ is often overused. It is, however, the best way to describe Mamula Island. A hotel that’s unique in its story, approach, setting, and spirit.
Mamula Island was originally a fort built in 1853 by the Austrian Admiral Lazar Mamula. Its purpose was to protect the entrance of the Bay of Kotor.
Despite this, the fort was used as a prison during the World Wars, after which it was abandoned and left to decay. Until now.
Mamula Island is a hotel encircled by sea and sky, with far-reaching views of crystal waters and wild scenery.
